Hope I am here........
Not real sure about this and hope that I am here so I'll just post this little line and see what happens.
I am 58 years old and created my first outfit when I was 10. My mother sewed nearly every piece of clothing I wore so a sewing machine was a normal fixture in a home as far as I was concerned. I am living in northeastern Ohio with my two sweet Bichons, Abby and Teddy. I am a widow. My husband died nearly 4 years ago. I' have moved back home and have pretty much taken over the whole basement as my sewing room. I look forward to this expereince.

Londa, the most difficult part about being a granny is waiting to be one!!! Once that precious boy is finally here, enjoy every minute of him. And then do you best to send Mom and Dad away for a "time out" so you can have him all to yourself!!! I have the worst time getting rid of their parents. My boys are 13, 12 & 16 months.
My "dabbling" in design is taking a basic pattern and making it mine. I'm trying a simple coat and adding flare and also dealing with the multitude of adjustments I have to make for this short, chubby body. The difficulty I am finding is stopping. I'll never get the coat made if I don't quit playing with the muslin and start cutting and sewing!
